FIRE SPRINKLERS

Uponor Wirsb's revolutionary and pantentend AQUA SAFE system provides a cost-effective way to give the home reliable and safe fire protection. Using Uponor Wirsbo's innovative AQUAPEX tubing, the plumbing system and the fire sprinkler are combined into one low-cost, multi-purpose water supply system.

Heat-activated fire sprinklers are attached to Uponors Wirsbo's multi-port fitting. Flexible AQUAPEX tubing supplies water to each sprinkler as well as cold-water plumbing fixtures. Because the plumbing system and the fire sprinkler system are combined, water availability is verified each time a plumbing fixture is used

 Uponor Wirsbo's AQUAPEX tubing is made of cross linked polyethylene (PEX) designed to withstand temperatures and pressures of 130psi at 120 F (1/2" only), 160 psi at 73.4 F, 100 psi at 180 F and 80psi at 200 F. The Uponor Wirsbo AQUASAFE fire sprinkler system must be installed in accordance with NFPA 13D.
